Returns Policy

All sales of spare parts are final. Please choose carefully, and call us first if you have questions about spare part compatibility with your Barnel product.

If you receive an incorrect, incompatible or damaged part as the result of our error, please call us to prearrange a return for full refund and/or exchange for a compatible part.

Spare Part Compatibility

Spare parts are compatible with genuine Barnel products only. Attempting to use Barnel spare parts with non-Barnel brand products may result in injury, damage, or unexpected tool failure. We are unable to provide service, support, or warranty for non-Barnel brand tools and any Barnel spare parts purchased for non-Barnel brand tools.

Spare parts available online are for current Barnel models (typically sold within the last 2 years). Even if the original product SKU is the same, product design, materials and part selection may have changed. Call for assistance with older models as spare parts may differ despite looking similar. We may be able to provide a compatible part not available online for your older Barnel product.

Call us before ordering with compatibility concerns. You may also e-mail us photos of your original Barnel product.

Minimum Order

To maintain our low prices and to ensure quality service and prompt order processing for all customers, we enforce a minimum $7.00 subtotal (before shipping) order amount. This is reflected in the shopping cart.

If you recently placed an order and require additional item(s), please call us immediately at 503-291-1500. If your order has not yet shipped, we will charge your credit card for the additional item(s) plus a $2.00 small-order fee to cover merchant processing and fulfillment costs. If we have already shipped your original order, you will be required to pay separate shipping on the additional item(s).

How to Order

We accept orders online and by e-mail, fax, and US mail for spare parts only. You may call us at 800-877-9907 (USA) or 1-503-291-1500 (worldwide) with questions and to begin the order process, but all orders MUST be confirmed in writing. We may require additional information from you to ensure an accurate spare part to match your original Barnel product and to avoid ordering errors. This may include the model number, product colors and dimensions, and/or photos of your product by e-mail. 

For Barnel retail product needs, please contact your local distributor for sales and service.

How We Process Orders

Once your order is complete and submitted with payment information and a valid shipping address, we will ship your order within 1-4 business days. Some orders may ship same day. If we are unable to fulfill your order within four business days, we will contact you with the reason for delay, an estimated ship date (if any), and an opportunity to cancel your order without penalty.

Your credit card will be authorized but not yet charged when an order is placed online. We charge your credit card after we have validated your order, confirmed item availability, and verified our ability to ship those items to you. As such, order status will initially display "Awaiting Payment", however no further action is required on your part.

All customers and guests who provide an e-mail address will receive e-mails with order invoices and status updates. To more easily view your order status, tracking numbers, and past order history, please create an account before or during checkout.

Shipping

We can ship to most physical addresses worldwide. Estimated delivery times and shipping costs are calculated in the shopping cart.

Except for USPS flat rate, the shipping rates for all items we sell are weight-based. Item weight is displayed on each product detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, an order's total weight will be rounded up to the next full pound.

Larger items and multiple-item orders usually ship by UPS Ground. Smaller items may ship by USPS Priority Mail. Items exceeding 36" in length may incur an additional fee for custom packaging and oversize shipping.

If you select USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Box, we will confirm that all items in your order fit within the flat rate box. We will contact you if the shipping method is not compatible with the items ordered. Most lopper handles and all extension poles will not be able to ship USPS flat rate.

If you are unable to obtain a shipping quote online, please obtain a quote and initiate an order by phone.

Whenever possible, we provide a tracking number at the time we ship your order. Shipments valued at $100 or more are insured with the carrier.

We ship domestic FOB: Portland, Oregon USA and international FOB: Ex Works.

International customers: The shipping/freight provider may require payment of customs fees before releasing shipped items. Any applicable customs fees are the responsibility of the customer.

Warranty

The Barnel spare parts you purchase from parts.barnel.com are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship. Our warranty does not cover loss/theft, misuse/abuse, normal wear and tear, rust, or shipping damage. Pruner, lopper and saw blades are not covered. If you have questions regarding the warranty of your Barnel OEM spare part, please contact us.

Warranty claims for your original Barnel product should be directed to the retailer or distributor/importer where the product was purchased.

Terms and Conditions

All product pricing is in US Dollars. We make every effort to display accurate pricing, descriptions and photographs. However, we reserve the right to correct any errors, omissions or inaccuracies without notice. If you have any questions or concerns about a product, please contact us before placing an order.

Disclaimer of Damages

Barnel will not be liable for any damage or injury sustained by customers who repair or replace parts. Barnel will not be liable for any incidental, consequential or other damages sustained by the customer or any other party, person or entity resulting from the sale or use of any goods sold, whether arising from breach of warranty, non-conformity to order, specifications, delay in delivery, or otherwise.

Applicable Law

All orders shall be governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA, without regard to conflicts of law, including the Uniform Commercial Code. Customer hereby subjects itself to the jurisdiction of, and exclusive venue in, the State and Federal Courts in the State of Oregon for the purpose of enforcing the terms of this agreement and for all other disputes regarding the goods. Customer waives any claim that such a forum is inconvenient or that there is a convenient forum.
